Terms of Service

1. The service

Tack is a web application for collecting design feedback and recording client approvals (“sign-offs”). Designers upload work; their clients review it, comment, and approve it, optionally producing a signed certificate of approval. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Clients can review and approve work without creating an account.
• You may not share, resell, or sublicense your account, or use the service on behalf of anyone you are not authorised to represent.

3. Subscriptions, billing & taxes

Paid plans are billed as recurring monthly or annual subscriptions through our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), who handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable sales tax/VAT. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the Subscription page; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices are shown before purchase and may change with notice for future billing periods.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tack to:

• upload or share unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or content you don’t have the rights to;
• violate others’ intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the service’s security or infrastructure;
• resell or redistribute the service, or use it to build a competing product; or
• send spam or abuse the review-link or notification features.

5. Your content

You retain all ownership of the files, comments, and other content you or your clients submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (for example, generating previews, delivering review links, and producing sign-off certificates). You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

6. Sign-off certificates

Tack records approvals as electronic signatures with supporting evidence (typed signature, explicit consent, file fingerprints, and device/connection details, all disclosed to the signer). These records are provided as-is to help document agreement between a designer and their client. Tack is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice; the legal weight of any sign-off depends on your circumstances and jurisdiction.

7. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Usertack is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Payment transactions are additionally subject to the terms of Paddle.com Market Ltd.
